Half Term Ideas

Pumpkin Festivals

How is it half term already…? Any parent is surely feeling the same. As always lots of activities are happening in this area and as pumpkins are a particular focus at this time of year, we thought it might be useful to pull together a list of who’s doing pumpkin festivals. Here is what we found.

Balgone - Pumpkin Paradise

Out to impress, Balgone are offering over 60,000 pumpkins from 27 varieties from 10 acres. They are also doing a haunted trail, a crooked cauldron and have an amazing food and drink zone of local suppliers. In a beautiful setting, you can get the right shots here.

Craigie’s

Wow what a line up. Not only do they have a pumpkin festival during the day, but they also have target paintball shooting, a haunted harvest maze, a barrel ghost train and loads more. This sounds action packed. It’s also worth noting that they have also got a ticketed apple juice system where you can drop you apples off and collect the juice in 7-10 days.

Blair Drummond Safari Park

The usual attractions are still open, but for Halloween they are doing ’HalloWILD’. They are doing a Trick or Treat Trail, a hay-bale jump pit, giant hay bale spiders, and marshmallow roasting on fire pits. A full day out and who if it will be the animals or you that will get a fright.

Hope you enjoy!
